Switch on contact - Poseidon sends E-mail

relay contact email, switch on email, switch off email, door email, door contact email, button email, security email, flooding email, switch on contact send E-mailPoseidon model 1250 can be used for signalization of contact switching on and switching off. Simply define switch on or off as a Alarm and the Poseidon will notify of it via E-mail.

* Email is send in case of any contact state change (switch on, switch off) as information about change in Alarm status (beginning and terminating).
* If You connect 2 contacts, 2 emails are sent. Every change generates another email including overview of state of all sensors.
* Email contains basic information about Poseidon unit, actual time, state of all sensors and overview of current Alarms.

Application examples :

* Switch on contact sends E-mail, after contact close an Email is sentConnect door opening sensor -> You will be emailed after door opening (and closing); the door to Your roof switchboard or 19" Rack.
* Connect button -> Email including information about all connected sensors will be send to You after each button push - current values of other inputs, temperature, humidity etc.).
* Connect output from security exchange -> Email during Alarm beginning (and terminating). Email is not the fastest method to Alarm but it can support security switchboard, it includes exact time when the Alarm occurred.
* Connect tank filling sensor -> Email will warn You of liquid level drop under set limit and it will fill the tank up.
* Connect voltage detection 110/230V from PowerEgg -> You will receive an Email after every power supply failure and switch to back-up power
* Connect flooding sensor -> Poseidon will send You Email after water leaking from the air-condition before it causes troubles in Your server room.
* Connect status relay contact -> Email after Alarm beginning (and terminating).

door SNMP, door contact SNMP, panic button SNMP, switch on SNMP, switch off SNMP, security SNMP, flooding SNMP, power failure SNMP, room access, door opening, rack door openingPoseidon model 3266 can be used for monitoring of security sensors or signalization status of security device. Connect sensors, panic button and output from security switchboard to Poseidon. SNMP Trap is sent in moment of sensor switch off. It can be sent to several recipients. For example to operator panel (object security service) and to central security system.

* SNMP Trap is sent after any change of contact's state (switched on / off) as a information about change in Alarm (beginning and termination).
* In case You connect 2 contacts, 2 SNMP Traps are sent. Every change generates extra trap for all recipients.
* SNMP Trap contains only basic information about Alarm origin (what input cased the Alarm and its name).
* If the power goes off, SNMP Trap is sent (power failure detection) immediately after power on.

Application examples:

* Connect output from security exchange -> SNMP Trap is fast method of warning when alarm occurs.
* Switch on contact and send E-mailConnect door opening sensor -> SNMP Trap notifies supervising security system of door opening, protect door from Your switchboard or 19" Rack.
* push panic button and send snmp Trap or EmailConnect "PANIC" button -> SNMP Trap is delivered within 100 ms to supervising system. It may notify operator, security service or raise alarm in whole object
* Connect voltage detection 110/230V from PowerEgg -> after power supply failure and switch to back-up power supply, NMS server and object security service are warned.
* Connect flooding sensor -> Poseidon will send warning of flooding risk to operator panel.

outside temeperature email, temperature range email, working temperature email, rack temperature email, temperature sensor email, limit temperature emailPoseidon model 3265 can be used for signalization of temperature range exceeding. Simply set temperature safe range for every sensor. If value exceeds this range, sensor gets to Alarm status and warns of it via E-mail.

* Email is sent after any exceeding of temperature safe range. Email warns of Alarm beginning and terminating.
* For two temperature sensor 2 emails are sent. Every exceeding of safe range generates another email including list of all current states.
* Email contains basic information about Poseidon unit, actual time, state of all sensors and list of all Alarm statuses.

Application examples:

* Install sensors in Your 19" RACK -> Monitor operating temperature of Your server,PBX phone switchboard and other equipment.
* Redirect email to SMS -> You will always know in advance about risk of server failure and data loss.
* Place sensors outside -> Email will warn of low outside temperature, for example before water freezes up and ice will cause problems in pipe.

Door opening SNMP Trap, door contact SNMP Trap, rack opening SNMP Trap, room opening SNMP Trap, Poseidon model 1250 can be used as supervision and monitoring of unauthorized door opening. Fit contact on the door, connect it to the Poseidon unit. In the moment of door opening SNMP Trap will be sent to NMS (Network Monitoring Software).

* SNMP Trap is sent after power supply start up and any change of Alarm status.
* SNMP Trap is sent at the Alarm beginning and terminating (input switch on / off).
* NMS (Network Monitoring Software) application will analyze Alarm and send E-mail to administrator or to operator panel.

Application examples:

* Monitor 19" Rack door-> You will always know about activity in the area where Your device is stored
* Monitor access to Your room -> You will know about suspicious visitors

temperature alarm email, temperature alarm snmp, temperature warning, temperature alarm emailPoseidon model 1250 or 3268 can locally inform about Alarm. One output can be switched on in case of any Alarm. In this case, temperature probe is an input and Poseidon will send an Email, SNMP Trap and switch on one output after temperature exceeds safe range. The output can directly light up alarm signalization (for example red light).

The alarm light is absolutely autonomous, no SW or response from other devices in necessary. Red light signalizes at least one Alarm is active. Email and SNMP Trap in case of one more Alarm (for example from another sensor) will be sent. Red light will stay on as long as at least one sensor is in Alarm.

Note: Connect Alarm signalization (for example red signal light) to output 2 (DTR) to use with Poseidon model 1250. To connect external relay use "P1250 RC (Relay Cable)".

Application examples :

* Acoustic siren to warn of rack temeperatureConnect acoustic siren -> Notify of high temperature local service or security service
* Locate warn light over 19" RACK -> Simplify and quicken intervention of the service, who immediately see what rack alarm applies to.
* Monitor working temperature of Your server, PBX phone switchboard and other equipment.
* Connect output of Alarm status to security system -> Do not worry about any SW, contact switching works when Your network does not.

temperature sms alarm, temperature sms email, temperature web sms, temperature online sms, temeperature snmp smsPoseidon model 3262/3265 can inform about Alarm via SMS over GSM modem. Connect GSM modem to RS-232, warning is independent on Internet.

Warning via Email and SNMP Trap is possible to join with SMS.

Ideal solution for Alarm path transfer back-up (for example server cooling problems) in case of network connectivity failure.
