PowerEgg is designed to detect, switch on and off 110 to 230V power supply voltage with galvanic separation of controlling and controlled segments.
Detection of power supply on the input, Switch off output voltage PowerEgg integrates two features in one device:
* Detection of power supply on the input (contact signalization)
* Switch off output voltage (external DC voltage control)
The input section of the power supply is equipped with IEC-320 connectors and with plug (C14), the output for safety reasons with standard plug (C13).
Indicating circuit of power supply detector is galvanic separated and is from user's point of view represented by relay switch contact.
Weak-current controlling circuit is represented by two terminal board, They support connection of external 3 to 15V DC voltage which can switch-off the power supply. Thus appliances run without abort in the case of failure or control unit drop out.
